Keystone Collection Opens a New Hotel in Old Riga – Carillon Aparthotel

Continuing to expand and strengthen its position in the hospitality industry, Keystone Collection has added another property to its portfolio of hotels in Old Riga. On 21 May 2026, Carillon Aparthotel celebrated its official opening with a festive ceremony. The new aparthotel offers guests elegant and comfortable accommodation in one of the most beautiful parts of Riga.

This marks an important milestone in the development of the Keystone Collection hotel portfolio, a journey that began in 2023 with the completion of the reconstruction of Konventa Sēta Hotel. Located just a short walk from one another, the two hotels complement each other perfectly. While Konventa Sēta Hotel offers a more traditional hotel experience, the new Carillon Aparthotel has been designed specifically for travellers planning a longer stay in Riga – whether for several weeks or even months.

A new life of a historic building

Carillon Aparthotel offers 61 elegant apartments within a historic building situated in the very heart of Old Riga, at 13 Pils Street, within the UNESCO World Heritage area. Like Konventa Sēta Hotel, the Carillon Aparthotel building boasts a rich history. This pre-war Art Nouveau property was first mentioned in archival records as early as 1870 and has served over the years both as a printing house and as a residential rental building.

Following almost two years of careful reconstruction, the historic building has been brought back to life and welcomed its first guests in December 2025.

Modern comfort and elegance

In the interiors of Carillon Aparthotel, Latvian architects and designers have successfully combined historic heritage with contemporary comfort. During the reconstruction, original wood beams and traditional tiled stoves were preserved, while the original stair railings and floor tiles were carefully restored.

Thanks to the preservation of the building’s historic layout, every apartment is unique and distinctive. Carillon Aparthotel offers its guests:
